This beautiful and crisp Rosé, salmon in color and high in tangy acidity, is made from one of the few Tempranillo vineyards on the western facing slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains. This is a true Rosé, made with black grapes that were crushed and pressed off the skins prior to fermentation.

12 bottles of 2007 Russian River Valley Syrah The grapes for our Syrah came from a single vineyard in the far-western expanses of the Russian River Valley. A cool-climate style of Syrah, as opposed to the super dark, over extracted, jammy style that has become so prevalent on the Syrah/Shiraz scene. This Syrah is of lighter complexion, with all the spice, earth and mouth watering acidity that the Rhone Region of Southeastern France is famous for. The 2007 vintage of Russian River Valley is ruby in color and smells like strawberries and pomegranate juice and the leather interior of a vintage Mercedes Benz. Although the wine spent 18 months in barrel, new oak treatment was sparing, so the highlights of this wine come from the grape, not from the barrel. Approx. 150 cases produced $16/ bottle. Also available in 6 bottle allocations.

Cabernet Franc has grown in the river valleys of Central France for hundreds of years and is the father of Cabernet Sauvignon. It shares Cabernet Sauvignon’s depth, richness and complexity, but is typically smoother and more peppery. The grapes for our Cab Franc come from a single vineyard in the rolling foothills west of the Sierra Nevadas. It is a new world expression of the old world grape – dark, smooth and bursting with fruit and spice. 85 cases produced. $22/bottle. Only available in 3 bottle allocation.
