Cabernet Franc has grown in the river valleys of Central France for hundreds of years and is the father of Cabernet Sauvignon. It shares Cabernet Sauvignon’s depth, richness and complexity, but is typically smoother and more peppery.
The grapes for our Cab Franc come from a single vineyard in the rolling foothills west of the Sierra Nevadas. It is a new world expression of the old world grape – dark, smooth and bursting with fruit and spice.
