Tempranillo is the great red grape of Spain and the main ingredient of one of the world’s great wines- Rioja. Duende Tempranillo share’s Rioja’s famous intensity and exotic quality, but it is richer, darker, and more flamboyant than its old world cousin.
The grapes for this wine come from 30 year old vines farmed by Gregg Lewis in the rolling Clements Hills, between the plains of Lodi and the western face of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Aged 14 months in French Oak – 40% new.
